Think hard on the perception of your business. Be calculated in the noises you make and bear in mind that past actions may well be viewed again in the future.
So say the greats:
"A brand for a company is like a reputation for a person. You earn reputation by trying to do hard things well."
"The most important thing for a young man is to establish a credit . . . a reputation, character."
John D. Rockefeller
"It takes 20 years to build a reputation and five minutes to ruin it. If you think about that, you'll do things differently."
"It takes many good deeds to build a good reputation, and only one bad one to lose it."
